I recently stayed at a charming property in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the area. The cottage was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The owners even left a delightful hamper of local treats as a thoughtful touch. I enjoyed taking a walk along the picturesque River Wye trail and canoeing down the river from Glasbury to Hay, all while soaking in the breathtaking views of the beacons. One of the highlights of being in Hay was the absence of light pollution, allowing me to have a mesmerizing stargazing experience on a clear night.
I did have one minor drawback, as I would have loved to have a pizza cooking oven-slice pan. Although the oven grill was sufficient, a dedicated pan would have been a nice addition.
